Dear Presidents and friends,

The 3rd World Traditional Wushu Championships will be held in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, China from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 2008. It is under the patron of the IWUF and sponsored by the Chinese Wushu Association.

Shiyan is a beautiful city which boasts the world-famous Wudang Mountain. Wudang is the Taoist shrine in China and has been granted the title of World Culture Heritage.

With experiences from the last two editions, the 3rd World Traditional Wushu Championships will place greater emphasis on features of traditional Wushu competitions and will encourage wide participation from our Wushu family. At the same time, many famous traditional Wushu masters will be invited to give demonstrations, lectures and seminars during the championships. We welcome Wushu federations throughout the world to attend this great gathering of traditional Wushu.

Regulations of the 3rd WTWC will be given out in the near future.
